Rector Receives Award from the Texas Master Naturalist Program

Dr. Barron S. Rector, Associate Professor and Extension Range Specialist, received the “7th Annual Advisors Award” from the Texas Master Naturalist (TMN) statewide program during the awards and recognition ceremony at the 15th Annual Meeting held on October 24-26, 2014. The award recognized the service of Dr. Rector to this program since 1998. He has served as a member of the TMN Statewide Advisory Committee and Program Advisor since the beginning of the formal program sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  Dr. Rector was presented the award by Michelle Haggerty, Coordinator for the Texas Master Naturalist program. The program and annual meeting were held at the Mo Ranch and Conference Center near Hunt, Texas.
