Taylor Wilson receives The Diversity Scholarship from The Society of American Foresters

The Society of American Foresters Diversity Scholarship is a year long Ambassadorial Program designed to promote leadership skills and create a community for those students involved. As a participant in the program, Taylor received financial assistance to attend the 2015 SAF National Convention held in Baton Rogue, Louisiana and will take part in activities designed to enhance leadership and networking skills by interacting with SAF leaders, the Chief of the US Forest Service, and other professionals. Following the Convention, Taylor will participate in an e-mentoring program throughout 2016. He will be matched with a natural resource professional based on his interests and needs who will help guide him through the next stage in life.

Taylor is a graduate student in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management.
