Antonio Cepeda-Benito, Dean of Faculties and Associate Provost

With a combination of pride and sadness . . . I forward the announcement that Dr. Ben Wu will be the new Associate Dean of Faculties and Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University. Please join me in congratulating Ben and wishing him well.

Fortunately, Ben is not leaving ESSM entirely. He will retain an approximately 40% appointment in ESSM and will continue to teach RENR 205 (Fundamentals of Ecology) and ESSM 660 (Landscape Analysis and Modeling). His academic appointment and tenure will remain in ESSM.

Regards,
Dr. Steve Whisenant
