Texas A&M SAF Student Chapter news

The Texas A&M Sociey of American Foresters Student Chapter (TAMU-SAF) held a BBQ on September 7 to kick-off the new academic year, gathering at the Texas A&M Ecology and Natural Resources Teaching Area (Range Area). Todd Thomas, chair of the Texas Chapter of the Society of American Foresters, sponsored the event and gave a presentation on the value of becoming an SAF member. He highlighted the networking, educational and professional opportunities associated with active participation in the society.
