Dr. Taylor is an Associate Professor and Superintendent of the Texas A&M University Research Station located between Sonora and Rocksprings, Texas. Dr. Taylor received all of his degrees in Range Science from Texas A&M University (BS 1970, MS 1973, PhD 1983) The current focus of his research includes the components of grazing management (i.e., determining proper stocking rates, season of use, grazing systems, and kind and classes of weather, soil, vegetation (native and introduced), animals (domestic and wildlife), prescribed fire, ecology and economics). Dr. Taylor has initiated a multidisciplinary approach that involves various departments on the Texas A&M University campus as well as other Universities.
