Dr. Hart is a Professor and Extension Range Specialist in the Department of Rangeland Ecology and Management at Texas A&M University. Dr. Hart received his B.S. in Agricultural Business and M.S. in Wildlife Biology from Abilene Christian University. His PhD is in Range Science obtained from New Mexico State University. He assumed his present position at the Fort Stockton District Extension Center in 1995. In this position Dr. Hart provides expertise on rangeland related issues in 23 counties and provides support and subject matter training to 21 County Extension Agents in the Far West District 6. The current focus of his Extension Programs focus on result demonstrations/ applied research on a variety of brush and week species, integrated approaches to management of livestock poisoning plants, and programming with Total Ranch Management. Programs also involve the use of decision support software for tactical management decisions.
